Hip Hop Director

Nichole O'Brien

Ms. O'Brien has trained with Georgia Academy of Dance for the past 16 years.  She has received additional training from the Rock School of Ballet of Pennsylvania by invitation, the American Ballet Theatre of New York, and the Atlanta Ballet on full  scholarship. Ms. O’Brien’s training led to many professional  opportunities including coaching the JV Chiefettes Dance Team  of McIntosh High School, directing and founding the Thunder Girls Dance Team of the Southern Crescent Lighting and the Emory Eagle Elite Dance Team of Emory University, and choreographing and  directing several shows at Emory University.  In 2004, Ms. O’Brien auditioned for and attended the Michael Beaty Expo in Dallas, Texas where she received call-backs from model and talent agents such as Elite Model Management, E! Entertainment, the Robert Lyons Group, and took 1st Runner-Up in the dance  competition. In addition, she was offered a position at John Casablanca’s Model and Talent Management Center in Atlanta as a teacher and talent agent. Ms. O’Brien is a graduate of Emory University with a double major in political science and psychology with a concentration in marketing and advertising. She is currently a member of Georgia Dance Theatre Professional Company and Hip Hop Director for
Georgia Academy of Dance & the Performing Arts.
