Wade Smith

Mr. Smith, a Georgia Governor's Honors Program alumni, continued his studies at Birmingham Southern College as a dance major and later joined Atlanta Jazz Theatre under the direction of Dan Youmans. He has studied with and performed the works of such renowned choreographers as Frank Hatchett, Kenneth Green, Michele Assaff, Ronnie DeMarco, Patricia Dickinson and Bick Goss. He has choreographed for dance competitions, fashion shows for major retailers and ESPN. Mr. Smith has been a featured performer for WSB's Salute to America and Georgia Dance Theatre. He is the co-founder and former Artistic Director of the professional jazz company, Souls of the Feet. In addition to his achievements in dance, Mr. Smith has worked with the mentally and physically challenged for the past 20 years.
Mr. Smith is the Associate Director of Georgia Academy of Dance & the Performing Arts and Georgia Dance Theatre.
