    Early Childhood Program

    Early Childhood Dance Classes in Peachtree City and Newnan, GA for children ages 2 - 6 years old

    Mommy & Me - Age 2

    This class is especially designed for the age 2 student with an accompanying adult. This class is designed to introduce the beginnings stages of structured movement along with self-expression and an introduction to music. This class is also designed for the parent as well . . . to increase mobility and exercise. Parents can wear anything comfortable.

    DRESS CODE

    Pink leotard, Capezio theatrical pink seamless tights, pink Capezio ballet shoes with elastic sewn in.  Short pink skirt may be worn if desired, but is not required.  Hair must be worn up and away from the face.

     Combo Ballet & Tap - Ages 4-6

    A one-half hour ballet and one-half hour tap class designed for ages 4 -6.

    This class is designed to introduce students to ballet and tap in an age appropriate, fun-filled method of instruction. The class is structured to introduce the beginning disciplines of dance.

    Combination Ballet Tap students are a part of the Early Childhood Program at Georgia Academy of Dance & the Performing Arts.

    Combination Ballet Tap Students will participate in their very own end-of-year performance in June and will require only one costume.  This performance is designed to highlight and celebrate the accomplishments of our Early Childhood Program Students.

    DRESS CODE
    Pink leotard. Capezio theatrical pink seamless tights, pink ballet shoes with elastic sewn in and black patent tap shoes. Hair must be worn up and away from face.

     Creative Movement - Ages 3-4

    This class is especially designed to expand dance related motor skills for ages 3-4 by developing coordination and self-expression through simple dance movement and songs. This age appropriate, fun, and educational introduction to ballet and movement allows for increase in self-awareness and physical mobility.

    Creative Movement Students are a part of the Early Childhood Program of Georgia Academy of Dance & the Performing Arts.
    Creative Movement students will participate in their very own performance in June. This performance is designed to highlight and celebrate the accomplishments of our Early Childhood Program Students.


    DRESS CODE

     Pre Classes - Ages 5-6

    Pre Classes are specifically designed for students ages 5- 6. These classes introduce the student to one-hour dance disciplines on an age appropriate level involving fun and games intertwined with technical instruction. Classes are one hour in length and are available in ballet and jazz.

    Students of Pre-Jazz classes will participate in our Early Childhood Performances.

    Students of Pre-Ballet classes will participate in our Early Childhood Performances.

    DRESS CODE FOR PRE-JAZZ & PRE-HIP HOP 
    Any color leotard, black jazz pants (not crop pants), Capezio or Bloch black lace up or slip on jazz oxford. Hair in ponytail.

    DRESS CODE FOR PRE-TAP 
    Any color leotard, black jazz pants (not crop pants), black tap shoes. Hair in ponytail

    DRESS CODE FOR PRE-BALLET
    Light Pink Leotard, Ballet Pink Capezio tights, Pink Capezio or Bloch.  Pink Skirt is optional.

    DRESS CODE FOR PRE-MODERN
    Any color leotard, tan footless tights, half-soled ballet shoes. Hair in ponytail.

    ALL ITEMS AT THE DANCER'S BOUTIQUE INSIDE THE GAD STUDIOS.
