*Ballet is the most beneficial form of dance for progression. If your child is interested in becoming a more advanced dancer it is vital that ballet be a part of their dance education.
Pointe - We take great care in placing students on pointe. Students must be in Pre-Professional Division in order to be evaluated for pointe work. Taking care of your child’s physical well being is our concern when placing them on pointe – a student placed on pointe too early can cause serious life-time damage. Pointe work is an additional aspect of training for the strong ballet student – it should never be considered a part of the basic technique of ballet training. We take pride in our strict criteria for this placement – for the safety and well being of your child – and for your child’s further progression in dance. The GAD Directors, Artistic and Administrative Staff are here to answer any questions you may have concerning the placement of your child. We value your children and find great joy in teaching them an art form we love so much! If you would like to meet or send questions via email contact me at [email protected]. I will be happy to assist you and your child in their performing arts education!
